Implementation is that stage between when a new strategy, process, system, etc. is designed and when it is adopted and running everyday. It’s easy to rush it because the new way just makes so much sense, right. So of course it’s going to just be accepted and done consistently moving forward.
Not the case.
Implementation and change efforts fail a lot. This is true for small, medium and large businesses and organizations of all types. People revert to the old way or people try to do both ways. And as a result improvements lag or never really happen. And unfortunately people become hesitant with new ideas, approaches and change.
Implementation has been a part of ALL the projects that I do with business owners and is such a key part to me that it will be a bigger focus on this site, the newsletter and in new offerings that are coming out.
